FEATURE MUSIC ARTIST
Loretta Perry
I have been singing since I can remember; seemingly before the age of three. As a child, singing solo in the public was not my cup of tea but later I gave it a try and found it wasn't too hard to do. So there it goes!
Being the tenth child in my family made it almost impossible to be heard, however, I was told if I had to jump in front of everyone to have my voice heard, I would and so I did. I guess that's what landed me a position with the "Perry Sisters", our famous family singing group! I had found my calling!
Singing around my hometown and near by cities paid off. I was offered a full scholarship at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I became a member of the college choir. Coming from a family of eleven, it was truly a blessing! So that's when I made a promise to be a blessing and not just receive them!
